It was another wonderful day at Picaflor House yesterday. We had some special visitors – more about that next week – so our teacher Johan, a man of many talents, arranged a Peruvian dance performance for our guests. The kids had been practising for a few weeks and we hired traditional costumes for the occasion so they would look the part. And they certainly looked beautiful, as you can see from the photos.

As well as performing two traditional dances superbly, they also recited a poem and sang a song, much to the delight of their classmates, our guests, volunteers and staff. I was very proud of them and they will be getting extra thanks and little presents today. And Johan did a super job of arranging everything, too. It was a very special day!
